CES 2018 Top Consumer Technologies

With CES 2019 in the rearview mirror, we looked at some of the most hyped technologies from CES 2018 to see how they have fared.

CES 2018 technology highlights included Virtual Reality, Personal Robotics, OLED Display, Autonomous Cars, and Voice Assistants.


  • Personal Robotics investment outpaced all other technologies, growing 9% each quarter .


  • OLED Displays and Autonomous Vehicles investment grew at 7%. Both technologies saw companies bring new products to market during the year (LG Rollable TV; Waymo Self-Driving Cars).


  • Voice Assistants investment grew at a moderate pace as the market began to mature and consolidate.
